Requirements? What are the requirements for h.u.m.a.n. to install and operate healthy vending machines at my organization or place of business and what is the timeline to do so?

REQUIREMENTS TO RECEIVE OUR FREE PROGRAM
Our requirements are based on the amount of traffic you have at your location on a daily basis. More specifically, how many static and transient people do you have at your location each day, and of these people, how many of them will have daily access to the area where h.u.m.a.n. vending machines would be placed? Our requirements are not black and white. Why? Simply because the same type of locations in different geographical areas with different sets of people produce very different results! However, we've found that the following traffic numbers are typically the minimum levels of traffic that we require in order to install vending machines at an organization. These numbers are meant to simply give you an idea - we will make a final decision after you fill-out our contact form and we have an initial phone consultation.

Note: If your location doesn't qualify for our free program where we operate the machines for you, there are still other options, so don't worry. For instance, you can operate the machines yourself and keep ALL of the profits!

Locations with Primarily Transient Traffic (Health Clubs, Airports, Hotels, etc.)

*To receive a hot food vending machine, a large & ambient all-snack machine, and/or one of our other specialty vendors (coffee, fresh food, etc.), your location usually has to maintain even higher levels of traffic.

Remember, these traffic numbers are simply estimates. Every location is different and your location could be a high-quality location in which we don't require as much traffic. OTHER OPTIONS IF YOU DON'T MEET THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS

Don't meet the traffic requirements listed above? Don't worry about it! There are still several other options which will allow you to get h.u.m.a.n. healthy vending machines installed at your location.

Lease & Operate the Machines Yourself & Keep ALL of the Profits
Trust us, we'd like to be able to operate h.u.m.a.n. healthy vending machines at EVERY single location that wants and needs the h.u.m.a.n. program. However, this is simply not feasible - logistically or economically. The reason we require certain traffic levels for those locations where we operate machines is to ensure that our vending operators are able to cover the costs of the machines, earn high enough profits to justify the time and energy they invest, and experience positive cash flow each and every month. There is financial risk associated with each healthy vending machine that we place, and we hedge this risk through traffic requirements. It's the best we can do when we're analyzing your location from far away! You are an expert on the specifics of your location - we're not.

If we cannot find a h.u.m.a.n. vending operator to operate machines at your location, you have the option of leasing and operating your own machines. Alternatively, if it makes sense for you and your location, you can purchase or finance machines instead of leasing them. For many schools, health clubs, and other sub 100 employee locations, this is the best option available. In this case, you and your location keep ALL of the profits and we provide you with a turn-key system to order products, maintain your machines, and optimize your own healthy vending business. Lease options start around $40 per week, which isn't much for having a premium healthy vending program at your fingertips. Especially when you consider that you can make good money from operating your own machines? Innovative technology, premium healthy foods, and extra cash - what else do you need from a convenient food service program?

Pay a Small Subsidy to Cover the Costs of Machine Operation
Some locations have no way of operating their own machines whether it's due to a lack of space, time, or interest. With these locations (assuming they do not meet our traffic requirements), we are able to have h.u.m.a.n. vending operators stock, maintain, and service your machines, but we may require a stipend to pay for the costs associated with your machine operation. In this case, if your machines end-up producing more than we initially thought they would, and provide our vending operators with sufficient positive cash flow, then we wipe-out the subsidy completely. Therefore, you'll only pay the stipend if it's absolutely necessary.

WANT TO OFFER H.U.M.A.N. HEALTHY VENDING TO YOUR PEOPLE FOR FREE?

Some companies - especially white collar office buildings - that are looking to improve their amenities in order to create a more attractive workplace, higher retention rates, and more optimal employee performance like the idea of providing their employees with free healthy snacks and drinks. In these instances, we can work-out a solution where your company pays a discounted retail price for all of the foods and drinks consumed by your employees. Additionally, we may require a stipend per month if your employees do not consume enough product for our vending operators to experience profit.
