How To Get Great Vending Locations with Less Money

What a whirlwind week for HUMAN!  In this abbreviated “Crush It Report” I want to update you on everything that has happened over the last seven days.

First off, we want to thank EACH and EVERY one of you who voted for us last Wednesday.  Your support means everything to us!

As many of you know, Andy and I were down in Gilbert, AZ for the InfusionCon 2011 Ultimate Marketer competition.  It was a great event, and we had the opportunity meet some of the world’s most leading-edge entrepreneurs and business people.

As finalists for the Ultimate Marketer of the Year 2011, we gave a 25-minute presentation about marketing in our industry (you can watch us below!).  The competition was open to over 10,000 supremely talented companies and marketers, and only three of us got to present at InfusionCon.  We were THRILLED to be recognized as the runner up Ultimate Marketer of the Year 2011!

Why does it matter that we are the Ultimate Marketers?

It matters because most of the vending industry is TERRIBLE at marketing and 99% of vending companies WASTE valuable cash on large, ineffective advertising budgets.  Who ends up paying for ineffective advertising campaigns that don’t work?  The money comes directly from the vending operator’s pockets!  All costs associated with marketing and advertising are passed directly on to the customers, and unless your marketing campaign is proven to work, spending money on advertising is one of the quickest ways to waste money.  At HUMAN, we are able to create tremendously innovative and effective marketing at a very low cost, and this saves everyone money including our operators.

As an operator, why is HUMAN’s marketing important to me?

In our business, there is nothing more important than connecting our operators with the top locations for their vending machines, and the only way to continuously secure the best locations is to have the best marketing.  Our innovative and strategic marketing allows us to solidify the best partnerships, which provides access to fantastic resources of locations AND arms us with credible references when we are reaching out to locations in our operator’s territory.  Having a superior product AND killer marketing is one of the reasons we have been able to launch programs in the best locations nationwide.

While we are excited about where we are right now, and we have established ourselves as the world’s foremost convenient access provider of healthy snacks and beverages, we have MUCH loftier goals for our organization and our operators.

Credit or Debit, HUMAN?….Healthy Vending in the LA Times

As many of you might have seen, HUMAN was featured in a recent LA Times issue (pictures below!).  The article showcases our warehouse facility as the #1 featured Automated Retailer in America!
